Biography

Lilith Spivack

Lilith Spivack is a dynamic soprano from the San Francisco Bay Area. Praised for her “marvelous bel canto voice” (Big Island Music) and floating high notes, she is at home in a range of repertoire. Most recently, Ms. Spivack participated in the 2023 Vienna Opera Academy, performing as Taumännchen/Sandmännchen and covering Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel. During the 2022 season, she performed the role of Eurydice in the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival’s production of Orpheus in the Underworld, and was featured in the Bach-Millennium Music's concert series: “Selections of Opera Favorites”. Previous seasons’ highlights include performances at the Sewanee Summer Music Festival, Manhattan School of Music,, and IVAI International Vocal Arts. Ms. Spivack’s roles and scene work include: Juliette (Roméo et Juliette), Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus), Enid (The Interaction Effect, with American Opera Projects), Nannetta (Falstaff), Alma (Summer and Smoke), and Cunegonde (Candide) Additionally, she has performed in the ensembles of La finta giardiniera, Leoncavallo’s La Bohème, and Les Pêcheurs de Perles.

Ms. Spivack is also a passionate teaching artist, and is on faculty at the Opus11 School of Music in Campbell, California. She is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and is a student of Jonathan Beyer.
