Biography

Jasmin Delfs

Jasmin Delfs was born in Eutin, Germany and studied in the Lübeck University of music with Prof. Manuela Uhl. Despite her young age, she was heard as a soloist in numerous pieces, such as G.F. Handel's Messiah, Mendelssohn Bartholdy's Elijah, J.S. Bach's Christmas Oratorio, J. Haydn's Creation and in W.A. Mozart's Requiem. Concert engagements led her to the Laeiszhalle Hamburg, Isarphilharmonie Munich and Großes Festspielhaus Salzburg.

Last season '21/'22, Jasmin Delfs joined the International Opera Studio at the Bayerische Staatsoper where she performed roles such as Papagena in Die Zauberflöte and Vespina in the new production of Haydn’s L'Infedeltá Delusa. In last year’s Salzburg Festival, she was a participiant of the Young Singers Project and could be heard asQueen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte and as First Flower Maiden in Parsifal. Her repertoire also includes roles such as Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro,Fatime in C.M.v. Weber's Singspiel Abu Hassan, Linfea in Cavalli's La Calisto, Viktoria in Abraham's Viktoria und ihr Husar and Helena in Offenbach's La belle Hélène.

In Summer 2021, she was awarded with the under 25 prize at the Concorso Lirico di Portofino and got awarded with the 3rd prize and a special prize at the CESTI Competition Innsbruck.
