Signed to GRAMMY® Award-winning Navona Records and educated at the prestigious Juilliard School, composer and pianist Christopher Jessup is acclaimed for his “imaginative handling of atmosphere” [Fanfare], his “high standard of technique” [New York Concert Review], and his “sagacious, well-designed” music [EarRelevant]. Jessup has collaborated with many of the world’s most esteemed ensembles and soloists. As a recitalist, he has concertized across North America and Europe, performing at prominent venues such as New York’s Carnegie Hall.

Jessup’s compositions have been performed and recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra, the Brno Contemporary Orchestra, the Juilliard Orchestra, the Kühn Choir of Prague, the National Sawdust Ensemble, Hélène Grimaud, Allison Brewster Franzetti, Jeffrey Zeigler, Brett Deubner, and countless others. Upcoming engagements for the 2023-24 season include a solo work for flutist Lindsey Goodman, a project with multi GRAMMY® Award-winning choir The Crossing, and a performance with the New York Virtuoso Singers. Jessup’s compositions are published by Noten Roehr Frankfurt.

Jessup has received innumerable awards and accolades, including a Global Music Award, a One Earth Award, two Clouzine International Music Awards, and a National Sawdust BluePrint Fellowship. Additionally, he was featured as a “Young Classical Star” on renowned English radio host Charlotte Hawkins’ Classic FM series in 2022.

Jessup studied under the tutelage of composer Melinda Wagner and pianist Jerome Lowenthal at The Juilliard School. He currently works as an Associate Executive Producer with PARMA Recordings and is represented by Lombardo Associates.
