Recent performances include Adina in L’elisir d’amore with the Indiana University Opera Theater. While there, she reprised the role of Zerlina in Don Giovanni, and sang the role of Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly. As an avid concert artist, Ms. Dessoye features as the soprano soloist in works such as Handel’s Messiah, Honegger’s King David, Dan Forrest’s Requiem for the Living, and Faure’s Requiem. Ms. Dessoye holds a Bachelor’s of Music degree from the Florida State University as well as a Master’s Degree from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
