Following these performances, Anne Marie was scheduled to sing the role of Die Vertraute in Elektra with The Philadelphia Orchestra conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin. Due to her extensive French repertoire, she also received a grant to attend the Classic Lyric Arts program in Ste. Sabine, France (all cancelled due to COVID-19).

"Because of the thickness of the orchestral texture in this movement, it is often difficult to hear the mezzo-soprano, but Anne Marie Stanley was able to hold her own."
