Michelle Girardot

Michelle Girardot is a light lyric soprano based in Houston, Texas, who shines in 21st Century, Mozart, and bel canto repertoire. A graduate of the University of Houston, has performed perform roles such as Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart), Zerlina in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Miss Wordsworth in Albert Herring (Britten), Eurydice in Orpheus in the Underworld (Offenbach). Other past roles include Aveline Mortimer in Elizabeth Cree (Kevin Puts), Mrs. Candour in the world premier of The School for Scandal (Robert Nelson), Bombalina in The Inspector (Musto), Gretel in Hansel and Gretel (Humperdinck), and Yvette in La Rondine (Puccini). 

Most recently, Michelle was the soprano soloist in the world premiere of Ēriks Ešenvalds' Mass of the Eternal Flame, album release date TBA.
