(She/Her/Hers) Kresley Figueroa, a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, is currently earning her MM at Rice University under the tutelage of Dr. Stephen King. She earned her BM at The Juilliard School where she studied with Marlena Malas.

Kresley enjoys a diverse career performing both operatic and musical theater roles. In 2020, she performed the role of Bubikopf in an innovative film production of Der Kaiser von Atlantis by Ullmann. In 2018, she made her Kennedy Center debut with the National Symphony Orchestra performing the role of Francisca in a series of West Side Story concerts. That summer she joined The Glimmerglass Festival as a Young Artist performing two of Bernstein’s great works as Francisca while covering the role of Maria in West Side Story and performing Trio in Trouble in Tahiti.
Other recent roles include Servilia in La Clemenza di Tito and Satirino in La Calisto at Rice University, Adina in a concert performance of L’elisir d’amore at the Music Academy of the West, Papagena in Die Zauberflöte, and Fiona in Brigadoon at The Chautauqua Institute.
Kresley is currently based out of Houston, Texas.
